Sen. Anitere Flores, State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle and Miami-Dade County Public Defender Carlos J. Martinez among honorees at April 14 event
MIAMI, Fla.—April 6, 2016— Laura Reich, a member at Miami-based Tenzer PLLC who heads the firm’s litigation group, is playing a pivotal role in organizing and securing sponsorships for the annual Florida’s Children First (FCF) Miami-Dade awards reception. The event will be held on Thursday, April 14 at the Sabadell Financial Center in Miami.
Reich has been involved with the statewide advocacy organization focused on protecting the legal rights of at-risk and foster care children for more than a decade. She has served on the Host Committee for the annual Miami-Dade awards reception since 2013. This year, Reich stepped up her participation by directly recruiting sponsors and becoming an individual sponsor of the event – along with her husband William.
Community and business leaders will gather on the 30th floor of the 1111 Brickell Ave. building from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to see several high-profile public officials receive recognition for their leadership in protecting Florida’s abused, abandoned and neglected children. This year’s honorees include Sen. Anitere Flores, Katherine Fernandez Rundle of the State Attorney’s Office and Carlos J. Martinez of the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office.

This is a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable work the State Attorney and Senator have done to fight human trafficking and the Public Defender’s commitment to juvenile issues.”
