WEST PALM BEACH—Kelley Kronenberg, a full-service law firm, announced that Daniel F. Tamaroff has joined the firm’s West Palm Beach office as a partner. Mr. Tamaroff focuses his practice on General Liability, First Party Property Insurance Defense, and Commercial Litigation.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Mr. Tamaroff was a shareholder of a full-service, Miami-based law firm handling all aspects of the civil litigation practice. He represented clients in state and federal litigation involving breach of contract, negligence, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), whistleblower retaliation, employment discrimination, privacy issues, and landlord-tenant disputes. Additionally, he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in federal Intellectual Property litigation and transactional matters.
His diverse background includes serving as outside general counsel for a variety of companies, handling everything from entity structuring and formation, purchase/sale agreements, commercials leases, employee and independent contractor agreements, intellectual property licenses, and various other business contracts.
In the Commercial Litigation realm, Mr. Tamaroff gained experience in Texas’ state and federal courts, representing clients in multimillion dollar construction defect, first-party claims, product liability, and tort litigation. He handled the appellate practice, including preparing and arguing appellate briefs, petitions for writ mandamus, and petition for review, filed with the Texas Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Texas.
Additionally, Mr. Tamaroff has broad experience with insurance law, including performing coverage review and drafting coverage opinions for cases involving commercial package, homeowners, professional, commercial/business automobile, personal automobile, and farm and ranch policies.
Mr. Tamaroff received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Davidson College in North Carolina and his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law in Indiana. He graduated in the top 20 percent of his class at Valparaiso and received Class Honors in Business Associations and Wills, Trusts & Estates. He is admitted to practice law in Florida; Texas; the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit; the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida; and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
