Attorneys and staff participate in beach clean-up at Virginia Key Beach Park

 

 

MIAMI–  Attorneys and staff from Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman spent the day on the beach – but there was no laying in the sun.   Along with Miami Waterkeeper, the group worked diligently on cleaning up the Virginia Key Beach Park, removing debris, eliminating invasive plant life, and making the park a cleaner, more user-friendly destination.

 

Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman P.L. is a prominent South Florida law celebrating 25 years of serving corporate, governmental and individual clients.  The beach clean-up was one of the many ways that the firm gives back to the community.   Numerous volunteers came out to lend a hand, including name partners Joe Serota and Mitch Bierman.

 

Miami Waterkeeper (formerly Biscayne Bay Waterkeeper) defends, protects, and preserves Biscayne Bay and surrounding waters through citizen involvement and community action.

 

“We are proud to participate in activities that help the environment and support our communities,” said Mitch Bierman, who is partner-in-charge in the Coral Gables office.  “It was a great way to build camaraderie and to make a positive impact.”
