Luger also continuing chairmanship of Chamber’s Young Professionals Committee and service on the Chamber’s Nominating Committee
MIAMI – Justin D. Luger, an attorney with Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, has been reappointed to the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors. This will be his third consecutive year on the Board.
Luger has also been reappointed to chair the Chamber’s Young Professionals Committee – HYPE –an acronym for “Helping Young Professionals Engage.”
In addition, the Chamber has once again tapped Luger to serve on the nominating committee, where he will be one of several professionals responsible for identifying the Chamber’s future leaders, committee chairs and board members.
“I am thrilled to continue my work at the Greater Miami Chamber and, in particular, continue my focus on ensuring South Florida’s next generation of leaders have an outlet to remain engaged in issues that matter to them. I am thankful to Chamber leadership for their confidence in me to represent the Chamber as a Board member over the next year,” said Luger.
Luger works in the firm’s litigation division and represents private and governmental entities in the South Florida area at both the state and federal level. He handles complex commercial, business and municipal/government litigation. At the municipal level, he represents local governments in litigation issues including zoning and land use regulations, the creation and dissolution of special districts and constitutional, civil rights and negligence matters.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Emory University and is a cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. Luger is a member of the Dade County Bar Association and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2010. He is a proud Miami native.
