Walter “Skip” Campbell Chosen as One of America’s Most Honored Professionals of 2016

Fort Lauderdale, FL – Walter “Skip” Campbell, Mayor of Coral Springs and partner at the law firm of Krupnick Campbell Malone Buser Slama Hancock & Liberman, was recently recognized by The American Registry with the 2016 America’s Most Honored Professionals Award. This award is given to the “Best of the Best,” including CEOs, doctors, attorneys, and individuals from every industry and profession.

 

Only individuals who have been publicly awarded multiple times for their professional excellence by trade groups, peers, clients, and the press are eligible for this recognition.

 

Campbell was among the recipients of the Daily Business Review’s first Lifetime Achievement of Professional Excellence award. A known leader within the legal profession, he has served as President of the Broward County Bar Association, President of the Broward County Justice Association and President of the Federal Bar Association of Broward County. He was elected to the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar and was the recipient of The Florida Bar Meritorious Service Award. He is a Founding Fellow and has served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Southern Trial Lawyers and a Diplomat of the Florida Justice Association. He is a sustaining member of the American Association for Justice, a Founding Sponsor of the Civil Justice Foundation and a Founding Member of the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice.

 

In 1996, Campbell was elected to the Florida Senate, where he proudly served the communities of the western portions of central and northern Broward County.  In 2014, he was elected Mayor of Coral Springs.  His dedication to his community is evidenced by his civic and charitable involvement. Campbell has received numerous awards for his civic, professional, and legislative efforts including the Hope Award of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Distinguished Community Service Award of the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation League of Coral Springs/Parkland, the VALOR award from the American Diabetes Association, and the Outstanding Senator Award from the Florida Justice Association.
