Michael J. Ryan Elected to the Florida League of Mayors Board of Directors

Fort Lauderdale, FL – Michael J. Ryan, Mayor of Sunrise and partner at the law firm of Krupnick Campbell Malone Buser Slama Hancock & Liberman, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Florida League of Mayors for a two-year term.

 

Founded in 2005 as a complement to the Florida League of Cities, the Florida League of Mayors is an organization for mayors, founded and developed by mayors. The organization provides the mayors of Florida with the ability to explore, in great depth, areas of mutual concern and opportunity.

 

Active in the community, Ryan has served as Chair of the Broward League of Cities Public Safety Committee; Chair and co-Chair of the Broward County Consolidated Communications Committee; Co-Chair of the Broward County League of Cities’ Joint School Resource Officers Task Force; a member of the Broward County Regional Planning Council; a participant in the Broward Chiefs of Police Association Committee on Domestic Violence Injunction Process in Broward County; and, Co-Chair of the Communications Working Group of the Strengthening Police Community Relations Task Force in Broward County.

 

Ryan is also an active member of the American Association for Justice, Florida Justice Association and the Broward County Justice Association.
