Biographical information:

 

Thomas E. Buser, partner, is board-certified in Civil Trial Law by The Florida Bar and has consistently been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating given by this publication. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the Broward County Bar Association.  He has served on the Legal Ethics Committee of the Broward County Bar Association, and is a past president of the Broward County Justice Association. He has been that organization’s Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President, case evaluation monitor, and newsletter editor. Buser has also served on the Executive Committee of the Federal Bar Association-Broward Chapter. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates and is a Founding Fellow of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. Walter G. “Skip” Campbell, Jr., partner and the mayor of Coral Springs, is board certified as a civil trial lawyer.  He is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and is also among a select group to be included in The Best Lawyers in America. He has served as President of the Broward County Bar Association, President of the Broward County Justice Association, and President of the Federal Bar Association of Broward County. He was elected to the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar from 1988 through 1996, and was the recipient of The Florida Bar Meritorious Service Award.   In addition, he is a Founding Fellow and member of the Board of Governors of the Southern Trial Lawyers, a Diplomate of the Florida Justice Association, a sustaining member of the American Association For Justice, a Founding Sponsor of the Civil Justice Foundation and a Founding Member of the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice.  In 1996, Campbell was elected to the Florida Senate.

 

Kelly D. Hancock, a partner at the firm, has served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida and as the Chief of the Homicide Division of Broward County.  He has personally prosecuted some of South Florida’s most well-publicized murder trials.  Hancock left the State Attorney’s Office in 1989 to move to the private sector, with a desire to continue representing victims. He has consistently received an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating given by this publication. Hancock is actively involved with the Broward County Trial Lawyers’ Association, the Southern Trial Lawyers’ Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Florida Justice Association, and the American Association for Justice.  He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Florida Super Lawyers magazine. Hancock is an active member of the Broward Christian Lawyers’ Association and is a Deacon at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. Holly D. Krulik, of counsel, has been a civil litigator with the firm for more than 20years.   She is actively involved in numerous professional associations including the Broward County Bar Association, the Broward County Justice Association, The Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association and South Palm Beach County Women Lawyers Association.  She is a past President of the Broward County Women Lawyers’ Association and a past chairperson of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers Women’s Caucus.   Community-minded, Krulik is a past president of the B’nai B’rith Justice Unit and remains an active member of their Board of Directors. She is a former co-president of the Sisterhood of Congregation Kol Tikvah. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Broward County Women Lawyers Association.   Krulik received the Up & Comers Award in the Law category from the South Florida Business Journal and is a recipient of the Paul May Young Professionalism award from the Broward County Bar Association.

 

Kevin A. Malone, partner, represents foreign governments in litigation in the United States and has an expertise in air-crash disaster cases, particularly in the area of forum non conveniens law.   He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and The Florida Bar. He is also a member of the Broward County Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, and the College of Diplomates of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He is board-certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer by The Florida Bar. Joseph J. Slama, partner, has extensive expertise in aviation, product liability, maritime, cruise ship, recreational vehicle and vessel claims, scuba-diving accidents, roadway design, and other complex civil litigation and damages cases.   Board-certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer by The Florida Bar, he is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America.   Active within the legal community, Slama has served as president of the Broward County Justice Association.
