K&L Gates Welcomes Joshua Carpenter to Miami Office

 

MIAMI –Joshua Carpenter has joined the Miami office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP as an associate in the complex commercial litigation and disputes practice.

Carpenter focuses his practice on maritime and transportation disputes, representing clients in the various aspects of litigation in state and federal courts across the United States.

Prior to joining the firm, Carpenter served as a law clerk for Chief Judge Leslie B. Rothenberg of Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal. Carpenter then spent several years as a litigation associate at Squire Patton Boggs where he focused primarily on complex multi-district litigation in the pharmaceutical and medical device field.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Kansas School of Law.
