Fisher Phillips attorney David Buchsbaum presents Seminar on ‘Avoiding Wage and Hour Violations’ to 2016 HR Expo

Fisher Phillips partner David Buchsbaum delivered a presentation on preventing Wage and Hour penalties to the 2016 HR Florida Conference. His workshop titled “Don’t Be Penny Wise and Pound Foolish: Avoiding Wage and Hour Violations, Penalties and Lawsuits” provided information to employers on best ways to comply with wage and hour regulations.   HR Florida State Conference & Expo is the annual conference of the HR Florida State Council, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) which serves the profession as the premier resource for best practices to the public and Florida human resource professionals.  The conference provides an opportunity for professionals from across the state to gather, network and learn from each other.

 

Buchsbaum’s practice involves representation of management in all areas of labor and employment law, and extends to employers throughout the United States in both state and federal courts, as well as before the U.S. Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and various other state and federal agencies. A significant portion of his practice focuses on wage and hour law, emphasizing issues relating to minimum wage, overtime, timekeeping, and wage-payment requirements.
