Fisher Phillips Attorney Cathy Stutin delivers presentation on Employee Privacy at 2016 HR Florida Expo

Cathy Stutin, Partner at Fisher Phillips, presented information on employee privacy to this year’s HR Florida Conference. Her presentation was titled “Invading Your Employees’ Privacy: Finding a Balance between an Employee’s Freedom and an Employer’s Need to Monitor.” HR Florida State Conference & Expo is the annual conference of the HR Florida State Council, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) which serves the profession as the premier resource for best practices to the public and Florida human resource professionals.  The conference provides an opportunity for professionals from across the state to gather, network and learn from each other.

 

Stutin represents employers throughout the country in state and federal courts, as well as before the U.S. Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other state and federal agencies. In her 25 years of practice in management-side labor and employment law, Stutin has tried cases involving claims for sexual harassment, race, religious and disability discrimination, retaliation and ERISA violations.
