About our Presenters:

Adam Zissman
General Counsel, Miami Dolphins

Adam Zissman is the General Counsel for the Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium.  He is responsible for the organization’s legal affairs, including negotiating and drafting various commercial agreements as well as handling the litigation related to premises liability issues.  Mr. Zissman previously served as Assistant General Counsel and Director of Human Resources for the Washington Redskins, and Senior Counsel, Business & Legal Affairs for NBC Sports and the Comcast Sports Group. Mr. Zissman is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School and the University of Virginia.

Flora Perez
Deputy General Counsel, Ryder System, Inc.

Flora Perez is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Ryder System, Inc., a $6 billion dollar transportation and supply chain management company.  She is responsible for the company’s securities, finance, compensation and benefits, and governance compliance functions.  She was previously an associate at Akerman Senterfitt and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.   Ms. Perez is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law.  Ms. Perez was recently named a “Woman Worth Watching” by Diversity Journal.

John Ruzich
General Counsel, Legends Sports and Entertainment

John Ruzich is the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Legends. The company provides a 360 degree venue solution across its four business verticals –  Global Planning, Global Sales, Attractions and Hospitality.  Mr. Ruzich previously served as Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs/General Counsel for DreamWorks Classics. Mr. Ruzich began his legal career as a staff attorney for the New Jersey Devils and has spent time at World Wrestling Entertainment as associate counsel. Mr. Ruzich is a graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law and University of Miami.

Linda Kelly Kearson
General Counsel, Eleventh Judicial Circuit

Linda Kelly Kearson is General Counsel for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court.  Ms. Kearson supervises 23 staff attorneys who provide support to the judiciary and the administrative office of the courts.  Ms. Kearson also provides legal services to the Chief Judge. Ms. Kearson is a graduate of the University of Miami Law School.

Lara Bueso Bach
Associate, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP

Lara Bueso Bach is a complex commercial litigation association with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.  Ms. Bach serves on the Board of Directors of the Miami-Dade Florida Association for Women Lawyers and is the Newsletter Editor.  Ms. Bach is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.
