Gale recently spoke at the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) conference. Gale discussed intellectual property due diligence, private investigators and foreign anti-counterfeiting efforts at the event, held October 25-27 in Washington, D.C.
Gale focuses his practice in the area of intellectual property counseling and litigation. He is a registered patent attorney, Board Certified in Intellectual Property by the Florida Bar, an AAA Arbitrator and Martindale AV Preeminent© rated. He has appeared in more than 400 federal cases as well as handled hundreds of injunctions in over 35 different states around the nation.
Gale was named Patent Law Lawyer of the Year in Miami for 2016, 2017 and 2018 by Best Lawyers in America. He is Co-Chair of the litigation subcommittee of the AIPLA Trade Secrets Committee and a member of the 11th Circuit Jury Instruction Panel, where he is working to draft jury instructions for the recently enacted Federal Defend Trade Secrets Act.
He received his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Florida.
