Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Walter “Skip” Campbell, Mayor of Coral Springs and partner at the law firm of Krupnick Campbell Malone Buser Slama Hancock Liberman, PA was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2018® in the Plaintiffs Personal Injury Litigation practice area.   Campbell has been recognized in this prestigious publication since 1995.

Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers® has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey. More than 79,000 leading attorneys are eligible to vote, and Best Lawyers received more than 6.7 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas. Lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, therefore inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”

Campbell is no stranger to honors.  He was among the recipients of the Daily Business Review’s first Lifetime Achievement of Professional Excellence award. A known leader within the legal profession, he has served as President of the Broward County Bar Association, President of the Broward County Justice Association and President of the Federal Bar Association of Broward County. He was elected to the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar and was the recipient of The Florida Bar Meritorious Service Award. He is a Founding Fellow and has served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Southern Trial Lawyers and a Diplomat of the Florida Justice Association. In 1996, Campbell was elected to the Florida Senate, where he proudly served the communities of the western portions of central and northern Broward County.  In 2014, he was elected Mayor of Coral Springs.  His dedication to his community is evidenced by his civic and charitable involvement.
