Ver Ploeg & Lumpkin Shareholder Stephen A. Marino Honored By Miami Dade Trial Lawyers Association

MIAMI, FL — Ver Ploeg & Lumpkin, P.A., is pleased to announce that shareholder Stephen A. Marino, Jr. was honored with the Miami Dade Trial Lawyers Association’s  (MDTLA) “Excellence Outside the Courtroom Award.” The award was given at the MDTLA’s President’s Ball on February 27th to individuals who consistently demonstrate dedication and commitment to benevolent causes outside of the courtroom.

 

Mr. Marino is one of four honorees this year, along with Representative Kionne McGhee, Judge Gill Freeman and attorney Stephen Rossman.  Mr. Marino was recognized, in part, for his work over the last five years as the Chairman of the Board of the Overtown Youth Center.

 

On March 5, 2016 Mr. Marino will help host the Overtown Youth Center’s 2nd Annual “Zo’s Hoop-Law Madness,” a three-on-three basketball tournament for attorneys that raises funds for OYC’s programs.
