Trevor Jones Joins Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman

Trevor Jones

Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman announced that Trevor Jones has joined the firm as an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office.

Jones focuses on commercial and governmental litigation, appellate practice, and construction law. Immediately prior to joining the firm, Jones served as a judicial law clerk to United States District Judge Joan A. Lenard and, before that, he clerked for United States Magistrate Judge Patrick M. Hunt—both in the Southern District of Florida.

Jones is an active leader in the community. He is a Board Member of the Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA), where he established and serves as chair of the Federal Law Clerks Division and is a member of three other FBA committees. Jones is also a Board Member of HANDY’s NextGen group whose mission is to embrace, educate, and empower vulnerable youth to become engaged, productive adults.

Jones graduated with his JD in the top five percent of his class from Florida State University College of Law. He is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida.
