Fort Lauderdale, FL. – November 9, 2015 – Robert “Bob” Butterworth, Of Counsel with Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney and former Attorney General for the State of Florida, provided his perspective on Broward County’s need for an elected mayor at a recent symposium presented by the Tower Forum.

“I was happy to be part of a dynamic conversation on the issues of electing a mayor for the County,” said Butterworth.   “It’s an issue we’ve debated for a long time – and always worth revisiting.”

Butterworth was accompanied on the panel by Lori Parrish, Broward County Property Appraiser and former school board member, and David DiPetro, Founder of Florida Litigation Law Firm and current Commission Chair of the North Broward Hospital District.  The discussion was moderated by Charles Caulkins, partner with Fisher & Phillips, founder and past president of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys and a chair of the Broward Workshop.
