Rennert Vogel Mandler & Rodriguez Attorney Viviana Aspuru Receives Board Certification in Condominium Law

Florida Bar unveils inaugural class of 129 statewide attorneys awarded special designation

Miami, Fla. — Rennert Vogel Mandler & Rodriguez attorney Viviana E. Aspuru recently earned her board certification in Condominium and Planned Development Law. This is the first year the Florida Bar offered certification in this particular practice area.

Aspuru is one of only 129 attorneys across the State of Florida to achieve board certification in this practice area.

Attorneys seeking this distinction were offered a Condominium and Planned Development review course they could attend before taking the exam. Not only did Aspuru choose to participate in the course, she was also asked to serve on the Faculty and Steering Committee and presented a lecture on developer filing and disclosure requirements.

“I’m delighted to be among the first attorneys to achieve board certification in condominium law, a practice which is heavily regulated in Florida,” Aspuru said. “We are grateful to The Florida Bar for establishing a program that allows attorneys who specialize in this practice area to distinguish themselves.”

Aspuru has extensive experience representing developers in the structuring, creation and operation of residential and commercial condominiums, hotel and resort condominiums, master homeowners and community associations, and planned community developments, including issues relating to the initial sale and marketing of condominium projects, planned communities, and large-scale mixed-use developments.

She is skilled at drafting the state and federal documentation required for the structuring, sale, and development of such projects. She also focuses on advising developers, and purchasers in connection issues related to fractured condominiums, subsequent developer issues, bulk buyer and bulk assignee issues, and association matters.
