Jason S. Sandler and Jesse T. Schwartz Join South Florida office
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, a leading civil defense litigation law firm, has added Jason S. Sandler and Jesse T. Schwartz as associates in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.
Jason S. Sandler, who relocated from Marshall Dennehey’s New York, NY office, is a member of the firm’s Casualty department, where he handles premises liability cases involving catastrophic personal injuries, property damage, and business loss. Additionally, he focuses on automobile liability matters as well as indemnification and insurance claims. Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Mr. Sandler worked at a large insurance defense firm in Fort Lauderdale, handling automobile liability, premises liability, No-Fault litigation, coverage disputes, and fraud investigations.
Mr. Sandler earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in Political Science and a minor in Mass Communication Studies from the University of Florida. He earned his juris doctor, with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law, where he also served as an associate editor of the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. He is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Jesse T. Schwartz joins the firm’s Professional Liability Department and has significant experience defending attorneys, real estate brokers and agents, insurance brokers and agents, accountants, and surveyors against professional liability claims. Additionally, he defends clients in both state and federal court in claims brought under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Florida Consumer Collection Protection Act, Electronic Fund Transfer Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. His practice also includes defending establishments throughout Florida against claims brought under Florida’s Dram Shop Statute.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, he worked at a boutique defense firm in Miami, focusing his practice in the areas of professional liability and premises liability.
Mr. Schwartz earned his bachelor’s degree in economics at Florida State University and his juris doctor, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. While in law school, he participated in the NSU Trial Association, and he worked as a lobbyist assistant for the education sector during his undergraduate studies. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
