Marshall Dennehey Shareholder Andrew J. Marchese Earns Condominium & Planned Development Law Board Certification

 

Fort Lauderdale, FL – Andrew J. Marchese, a shareholder with the Fort Lauderdale office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been board certified in Condominium and Planned Development Law by The Florida Bar. Board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice.

 

Mr. Marchese is part of the inaugural class of individuals becoming board certified in this area of the law as there previously had been no sub-specialty in condominium and planned development law recognized for certification by The Florida Bar.

 

A member of Marshall Dennehey’s Professional Liability Department since 2003, Mr. Marchese has represented hundreds of condominium associations, homeowners associations, directors, officers and property managers in claims ranging from breach of fiduciary duty, breach of the declaration, real estate liens, real property document disputes, Fair Housing Act (FHA) and HUD claims. His extensive directors and officers practice has given him significant experience with a broad range of claims in this arena.

Throughout his career, Mr. Marchese has represented various individuals, private and public companies, and nonprofit entities in a variety of business matters. Additionally, he handles complex litigation with an emphasis on the defense of non-medical professionals, and he represents employers in litigation and in providing advice and counsel concerning a wide variety of employment-related matters.

 

Mr. Marchese received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice/Pre-Law from the University of Maryland (College Park). He earned his juris doctor, cum laude, from Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He is admitted to practice law in Florida as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
