K&L Gates Partner Elisa D’Amico Appointed to the Florida Bar Committee for Media and Communications Law

 

 

 

MIAMI – Elisa D’Amico, a partner in the Miami office of the global firm K&L Gates LLP and co-founder of the Cyber Civil Rights Legal Project, has been appointed to serve on The Florida Bar’s Media & Communications Law Committee. Her term will begin on July 1, 2017.

Elisa focuses her litigation practice on technology and internet law, specifically online privacy and cyber harassment. She has authored several articles published by the ABA’s Human Rights Magazine, National Law Journal, Miami Herald and Daily Business Review and she often is interviewed by the media about her internet law work.

Elisa earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. There, she served as an editor for The Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law. Elisa is admitted to practice law in both Florida and New York.
