Fort Lauderdale, Fla. –Kelley Kronenberg, a diverse business law firm, was proud to serve as a sponsor for the recent Special Compass Inaugural Golf Tournament, held at Jacaranda Golf Club in Plantation, FL. The firm has long been a supporter of Special Compass, a 501 C (3) non-profit organization that provides life-changing experiences for the differently-abled by promoting inclusion in the community using athletic events, and building opportunities for independent living.

“Special Compass helps so many wonderful people in our community. Their work to enrich the lives of others inspired our firm to get involved with this important organization and provide support to further their mission,” said Heath Eskalyo, Principal Partner and Chief Financial Officer for Kelley Kronenberg.

This Inaugural Golf Tournament was one of the largest fundraising events for Special Compass and also served as an outlet to spread the word about the organization and its work.

In addition to sponsoring the Special Compass Inaugural Golf Tournament, Kelley Kronenberg held a recent fundraising initiative where the firm auctioned off its office furniture before moving to its new corporate headquarters. All proceeds from the auction were donated to Special Compass in an effort to help them reach their fundraising goal to attend the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

This fundraiser is just one example of the many charitable activities organized by the firm as part of its Kelley Kronenberg Cares (KKC) initiatives, which provide opportunities for the firm’s attorneys and staff to personally commit to civic and charitable efforts in the cities where the firm’s offices are located. Previous KKC projects have included a statewide school supplies drive for students, as well as food drives and clothing donations.
