John Quick, Partner at Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, Elected President of the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade

 

 

MIAMI – John Quick, partner at Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, has been elected President of the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade.   Prior to this position, Quick served on the organization’s Board of Directors.

 

The Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade is committed to ensuring Miami-Dade’s park facilities, programming and connections provide a world-class experience for residents and visitors. In his role as president, Quick will work with the board and staff to help secure funding to preserve and promote parks and programming throughout the county.

 

Quick has long been involved with various organizations, taking leadership positions dedicated to improving the Miami-Dade community. In addition to the Miami-Dade Parks Foundation, he serves as the Chair of the Miami-Dade Community Relations Board and is also the Past Chair of the 11th Judicial Circuit Historical Society and a long-time board member and Past President of the Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library System. Quick has received numerous awards and recognitions for his commitment to the community.

 

At the firm, Quick focuses on business, real estate, and government litigation, among other areas. He has experience with international litigation, including experience with Mexico, Italy, Norway and Switzerland, to name a few.

 

Quick earned his B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.  He is admitted to The Florida Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Southern and Northern Districts of Florida and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 1st, 5th, 9th and 11th Circuits.
