Jodi B. Laurence Joins Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Board of Directors

MIAMI — Jodi B. Laurence, co-founder of Florida Health Law Center of Davie, Florida, has joined the Board of Directors of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, part of Miami Children’s Health System.

 

Laurence will serve a three-year- term on the 19-member board, which provides governance to the nonprofit pediatric specialty hospital and its growing network of ambulatory care centers.

Laurence is a board-certified health law attorney with extensive health care executive experience.   She has significant experience in all aspects of health law, including the formation of joint ventures and multi-specialty group practices, mergers and acquisitions, contracting, corporate compliance and fraud and abuse issues.  She has represented hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, heath care corporations, managed care entities and nursing homes.
