Haliczer, Pettis & Schwamm Co-Founder Eugene Pettis Named Chairman of Tower Club

 

 

Fort Lauderdale (June 22, 2018) – Haliczer, Pettis & Schwamm P.A., a preeminent Florida plaintiffs’ law firm, announced that co-founding partner Eugene Pettis has been named Chairman of the Tower Club in Fort Lauderdale.

Pettis represents corporate, public sector and individual clients in civil trial matters.  He has more than 30 years of experience handling a range of complex cases for defendants and plaintiffs in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, commercial litigation, employment and professional liability.

A former president of The Florida Bar, Pettis was a 2007 inductee to the exclusive invitation only American College of Trial Lawyers and elected by his peers into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America as Lawyer of the Year for plaintiff medical malpractice 2017 and Lawyer of the Year for personal injury defense 2018.

 

Pettis currently serves on the University of Florida Foundation’s board of directors and on the board of trustees at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida.
