Five Marshall Dennehey Lawyers Featured in 2020 South Florida Legal Guide

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. — Five lawyers with the Fort Lauderdale office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, a leading civil defense litigation firm, are recognized in the 2020 edition of the South Florida Legal Guide, published by South Florida Business & Wealth. Craig S. Hudson and Michael A. Packer were named to the “Top Lawyers” list, and Kimberly Kanoff Berman, Alan C. (A.C.) Nash and Danielle N. Robinson were selected to the “Top Up & Comers” list.

The South Florida Legal Guide is a peer-nominated publication. Out of the more than 700 nominees this year, a small group was hand-selected by South Florida Business & Wealth Editor-in-Chief Kevin Gale to be featured alongside those honored in past years. The lawyers listed have years of experience practicing law and are well regarded within the legal profession.

Craig S. Hudson, Shareholder, serves as Regional Managing Attorney of Marshall Dennehey’s four Florida Offices and Supervisor of the Professional Liability Practice Group in Florida, as well as a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. His primary area of practice is professional liability, defending non-medical professionals. He also represents contractors and sub-contractors in large multi-party construction defect cases as well as employers in all types of employment-related litigation. Mr. Hudson was selected for Professional Liability – Defense.

Michael A. Packer, Shareholder, is the Co-Chair of the firm’s Insurance Coverage/ Bad Faith Litigation Practice Group. He defends property insurers throughout Florida in first party coverage matters and provides coverage analysis and opinions of third party claims. He also defends insurance companies in bad faith lawsuits. Additionally, he has substantial experience in alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Packer was selected for Insurance Litigation – Defense.

Kimberly Kanoff Berman, Special Counsel, is a member of the firm’s Appellate Advocacy and Post-Trial Practice Group in the Professional Liability Department. She handles appeals in Florida’s state and federal appellate courts on a wide variety of subject matters.  She is also admitted to practice in the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to her extensive appellate practice, she provides litigation support in insurance coverage, construction defect, premises liability, condominium and homeowners’ association, professional malpractice, and bad faith cases. Ms. Berman was selected in the Appellate category.

Alan C. (A.C.) Nash, Shareholder, is a member of the firm’s Casualty Department, focusing his practice on the defense of claims brought against insureds and businesses in product, automobile, commercial, liquor liability, construction and premises liability matters. He also represents municipalities and law enforcement agencies in issues concerning federal and state civil rights cases. Mr. Nash was selected for General Liability –Defense.

Danielle N. Robinson, Shareholder, is a member of the firm’s Professional Liability Department. She focuses her practice on the defense of insurance carrier clients in matters involving coverage issues and alleged bad faith actions. Additionally, she represents automobile manufacturers in lemon law and warranty litigation. Ms. Robinson was selected for Insurance Litigation –Defense.
