MIAMI, FL – Joe Rich, a member the firm’s Miami office, has been appointed to the board of directors for the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP). Established in 1998, NASP is a nonprofit organization driven to enhance the stature and effectiveness of subrogation and recovery professionals through education, advocacy, and networking.
Joe handles complex subrogation and recovery matters arising from property damage loss events, such as fires, product failures and defects, mechanical system failures, plumbing and water system releases, sprinkler system failures, building collapses, roofing failures and deficiencies, and other construction defects. Joe frequently presents webinars and seminars on emerging issues in subrogation and regularly authors alerts on case law or civil rules changes as they relate to subrogation.
Joe is actively involved in NASP, having previously served as co-chair of NASP’s 2018 Annual Conference and co-chair of NASP’s DC/MD Chapter. Joe has presented at NASP’s Annual Conferences since 2012 and he has also presented at NASP’s Litigation Skills Conferences. He also recently earned his Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP) Designation administered by NASP.
