Caitlin Shields Joins Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann

 

Boca Raton, FL – Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann announced that Caitlin Shields has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney. She focuses her practice on products liability claims, toxic torts including asbestos and talc litigation, premises liability, and complex commercial litigation.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Shields worked at Wicker, Smith, O’Hara, McCoy and Ford, P.A where she focused her practice on civil litigation matters.   She also interned for Federal Judge David Lee Brannon in the Southern District of Florida.

 

Shields is admitted to The Florida Bar and to the U.S. District Court, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.   She is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and is involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

 

She earned her JD from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was a Dean’s List scholar and the recipient of Book Awards in medical malpractice, legal drafting, and cyber security and data breaches. Shields was also a teaching assistant for the legal writing and appellate advocacy courses, and a graduate research assistant.
