FORT LAUDERDALE/BOSTON (April 22, 2019) – High-stakes litigation firm Campbell Conroy & O’Neil, P.C. (formerly Campbell Campbell Edwards & Conroy), announced that Florida attorney P. Brandon Perkins has joined the firm as a member and is opening the Fort Lauderdale office where he conducts trials, post-trial motions and appeals. The firm’s new Palm Beach County office is led by firm Member and President James M. Campbell.

With the opening of these new offices, Florida has become the 8th state in which Campbell Conroy & O’Neil maintains a physical presence, and the first state outside of the northeast region. The firm continues to have a national trial practice extending across the county.

Brandon Perkins is a Florida native with extensive trial and appellate experience.  He represents clients in insurance, real estate, healthcare, trucking and auto, premises liability, employment, breach of contract, and class action matters.  Perkins serves as advanced motion and appellate counsel for complex casualty cases and as lead trial counsel in premises liability actions.  He is admitted to practice in Florida and New York.  Perkins graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2002.  He clerked for former Florida Supreme Court Justice Raoul Cantero.

James Campbell focuses his practice on civil litigation and the defense of catastrophic product liability, toxic tort, medical device, pharmaceutical, professional liability, and negligence matters throughout the United States.  Over his career, Jim Campbell developed a reputation as a go-to attorney for clients with high-stakes matters, having tried more than 100 cases in 15 states.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Society of Barristers, and the Litigation Counsel of America.  Jim Campbell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), recognized by The Legal 500 as a nationwide leading lawyer for Product Liability and Mass Tort Defense and identified by Chambers USA as a nationwide leading lawyer for Product Liability and Mass Torts.  His Bar Admissions include Massachusetts, Florida, Maine, and New Hampshire.  He graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with his B.A. and earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Richard Campbell is Of Counsel to the firm after 32 years as a Member.  He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Florida, where he primarily represents national and international corporations in complex cases, including multi-district litigation, commercial disputes, class actions, toxic tort and products liability disputes. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Past President of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Founding Chair of the Board of Overseers at Boston College Law School, and a recipient of Boston College Law School’s highest honor, the Founders Medal.  He graduated cum laude from Boston College Law School with his J.D. and earned his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts.
